RiverKinn

RiverKinn formed in 2018 around vocalist Anya Kinnaird, guitarist Ethan Rivers, and drummer Jake Kinnigan. They came together after a previous musical project ended, though the details of that earlier band aren't well documented. The trio worked through the usual early struggles of a new group, playing shows and figuring out their sound without much industry backing.

Their 2021 single 'Cut' became their first real break. They followed it with other songs like 'Asthma' and 'Crowsfeet,' which continued in a similar vein of introspective alternative rock with folk and electronic touches.

Anya Kinnaird writes most of the lyrics and handles lead vocals, while Ethan Rivers provides the guitar work and Jake Kinnigan drums. Their music tends toward the melancholic and reflective, built around Anya's voice and Ethan's arrangements. They've maintained a fairly low public profile outside of their recordings and performances, letting the music speak for itself.
