Robi Rosa

Robi Rosa started in music as a teenager when he joined the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. After leaving the group in 1984, he began working on his own material. His 1994 album 'Amor y Control' drew attention for its direct approach to subjects that weren't often discussed in mainstream Latin pop at the time.

He's written songs for other artists while continuing to release his own records, including 'Cosa Buena' in 2001 and 'Aleatorio' in 2011. Some of his better-known tracks are 'Hello' and 'Ser Feliz,' which have a straightforward, melodic quality that feels more personal than polished.

Rosa has worked with musicians like drummer Luis Conte and bassist Andy Abad on various projects. He keeps a fairly low profile compared to some of his contemporaries, focusing on writing and recording rather than maintaining a constant public presence.
