Oh fate has flown out the door,

No more no less true than before.

Think you can see all your days ahead of you,

Don’t you think you’re ahead of yourself,

You wonder what else there is to see.

Don’t you know it’s as easy as can be,

To fall apart, to be destroyed,

Oh i really don’t mean to kill your joy.

Bad prevails left and right,

I really don’t mean to stomp out your light;

But right is through and wrong has taken hold,

Of all lovers and significant others.

No one is saved from the sin that they crave,

So take those precious morals and throw them all away.

I can barely stand this world that’s been made,

Fathers and daughters at war with one another,

Oh can’t we love each other,

For we are only human for as long as we age.

Take my hand, walk me around this mess.

Don’t fall into the world that’s been made,

Know that sins have their place,

And you and i have our place too.
