Robin Fox formed in Seattle in the early 2000s, an indie-folk band led by singer-songwriter Fox with bassist Ethan James and drummer Jake Davis. Their debut album 'Starlight & Shadows' came out in 2005. In 2008 they released 'I See Stars', which included the title track and songs like 'Deena' and 'Feels Inside'.
That 2008 album followed a copyright dispute in 2007 where Fox was accused of plagiarizing a melody. The band put out two more albums, 'The Messenger' in 2012 and 'Echoes of Time' in 2015.
