He released four albums between 1989 and 1996, including 'Hurbanistorias' and 'El poeta del nopal.' Some of his songs, like 'Distante Instante' and 'En La Estación Del Metro Balderas,' became well-known in Mexico. The lyrics in 'Ama de Casa Un Poco Triste' and 'Amor de Telefono Esquinero' showed his eye for everyday scenes and quiet moments.
Rockdrigo's music wasn't always easy for the mainstream. He kept writing and recording until his death in 1995, leaving behind songs that still feel direct and unpolished.
