Rojo Nébula

Rojo Nébula formed in Mexico City in the late 2000s with David Alvarado on vocals, Luis Vidal on guitar, Diego García on bass, and Ricardo Díaz on drums. They started playing in the city's underground scene, working out their sound while trying to get shows.

In 2012, they released their debut EP called 'Catarsis.' The title track became their most recognizable song, a slow-building piece that caught some attention and helped them start touring more regularly.

Their music tends toward prog rock and ambient textures, with lyrics that lean introspective. They've drawn both praise and criticism for that approach, some listeners find it thoughtful, others find it too removed from more direct rock. They've kept at it regardless.
