He formed a band in the early 2000s with other musicians, including vocalist Juliana Ribeiro, drummer Elisson Castro, bassist João Pedro, and keyboardist André Oliva. Their music draws from Bahian rhythms, funk, and pop.
After releasing a debut album in 2005, they put out several more records over the following years, including Do Amor (2009), A Vida É Boa (2012), Ritmo e Poesia (2015), and Meu Mundo (2018).
