Ronni Menezes started playing guitar at 15 in Salvador, Brazil, a city known for samba and axé music. He formed his band in 2002 with Alex Nunes on bass, Renato Telles on drums, and Marcos Vinícius handling vocals. Their first album came out the following year.
That debut was called 'Game Over,' which was also the title track. The song got some attention in Brazil's heavy metal circles around that time. The band put out a few more records over the next several years, like 'Metal Revolution' in 2006 and 'No Fear' in 2009.
Their sound pulled from heavy metal and progressive rock, with some of those Brazilian rhythms in the mix. They were active through at least 2012, when 'Rise of the Empire' came out.
