Rosa de Saron

Rosa de Saron formed in São Paulo in 1991, started by vocalist Guilherme de Sá and guitarist Bruno Faglioni. Their self-titled debut album came out the following year, and the track 'Em Espírito, Em Verdade' became an early staple. They've kept at it with a steady output of studio albums, including 'Casa dos Espelhos' in 1999 and 'O Alvo' in 2014.

Their sound has always been rooted in Christian rock, but they've pulled from other styles over time. Songs like 'Sem Você' and 'Mire as Estrelas' show their range, moving between straightforward rock and more melodic, reflective moments. The lineup has shifted some, but de Sá and Faglioni have remained constants.

In 2014, they faced some public criticism after playing a concert sponsored by a company accused of human rights violations. The band said they weren't aware of the allegations beforehand. They've continued releasing music since, with albums like 'Ateonho' in 2019.
