Early on, they wrote songs like 'Embreagado' and 'Política' that tackled social issues with a direct, sometimes confrontational edge.
They put out their first album in 1983 and followed it with records like 'Mídias' in 1986 and 'Saber Viver' in 1988. The band's lineup shifted over time, but the core trio of Dias, Ricardo, and Dedê defined their sound, Dias's sharp guitar and vocals, Ricardo's basslines, Dedê's drumming. Their live shows were known for being loud and energetic.
They kept writing that way anyway. The band stopped playing together in 1994.
