Roxus formed in the early 2000s with Anya on vocals and Ethan on guitar, later joined by Marcus on bass and Luke on drums. Their debut single 'Where Are You Now?' came out in 2003 and connected with listeners through its straightforward melody and lyrics about missing someone. The band followed it with the album 'Echoes of Time' in 2004 and 'Tides of Change' in 2006.
Marcus left the band in 2005, and Luke took over on bass. In 2009, Ethan was arrested for drug possession, which brought some unwanted attention to the group. They kept working together after that, though.
