Roxx Gang formed in Los Angeles in the late 1970s, with Kevin DuBrow on vocals. Their self-titled debut came out in 1980, and the following year's 'Midnight Delight' included the single 'Can't Catch Me.' That track became one of their better-known songs, along with others like 'Ball 'n' Chain' and 'Scratch My Back.'

They put out several more albums through the 1980s, including 'Great Escape' in 1982 and 'Big Bang' in 1983. The band's lineup at various points included guitarists Kevin Steele and Craig Goldy, bassist Dil Keough, and drummer Steve Poisun. DuBrow's vocal style and the group's blend of hard rock and glam elements gave them a particular sound within the L.A. scene of that era.

Roxx Gang released their final studio album, 'The Voodoo You Do,' in 1993 before disbanding. Their music from the early 1980s remains familiar to fans of that period's heavy metal.
