Archive material and source history

Roxy Blue formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1980s with a lineup that included Trish Keenan on vocals, Michael Webb on guitar, John Convertino on drums, and Reed Nielsen on bass. Their debut album 'Want' came out in 1988, followed by '2nd Thought' in 1989. That second album featured 'Nobody Knows,' a song that became something of a cult favorite with its melancholic feel.

They put out two more albums, 'Unamerican Gothic' in 1990 and 'Salvation' in 1992. Other songs in their catalog include 'Rob The Cradle,' 'Squeeze Box,' 'Times Are Changin',' and 'Too Hot To Handle.' Trish Keenan died in 2011.
