Roxy Rocks came together in Los Angeles in the early 2000s with Lexi Stone on vocals and guitar, Jake Richards on lead guitar, Max Benson on bass, and Dylan Carter on drums. Their first album, Outcast, arrived in 2003 and got some mixed reactions for its rough edges.
Things shifted with their 2005 sophomore album Breakthrough. The single Mr. Right caught on, with its catchy melody and lyrics about looking for a partner. It became their breakout track.
After that, they put out albums like Unbreakable in 2007, Defiant in 2009, Redefined in 2012, and Legacy in 2015. The lineup saw some changes over those years.
