Ru4m OG

Ru4m OG formed in 2015 as a Brazilian funk group with members MC MM, MC Rick, MC Lorran, and MC Daniels. They came together in Rio de Janeiro's favelas, where they started making music that reflected their surroundings.

In 2017, their song 'Blogueirinhos' became a breakout hit, leading to their debut album 'Na Batida do Morro' the following year. Other tracks like 'Status' and 'Usain Bolt' followed, with their lyrics often addressing life in their communities.

Their music has drawn attention for its direct portrayal of favela experiences, which has sometimes sparked debate about how they represent those realities. They've continued releasing music through albums like 'Chama Nois' and 'Não Para Não' while maintaining their focus on their original sound and subject matter.
