Ruiz Origon formed in 2013 in Umuarama, Paraná, with four members: brothers Ricieri and Rafael Origon, and cousins Luiz Gustavo and Henrique Ruiz. They started playing local bars and festivals before catching the attention of the label Som Livre.
Their debut album 'Sentimento Interior' came out in 2018, followed by 'Flor do Sertão' in 2019 and 'Mudei de Vez' in 2021. The song 'Mudei de Vez' became one of their notable tracks.
In 2020, the band faced plagiarism accusations over their song 'Olha o Sol,' which was eventually pulled from circulation. The incident stirred some debate in Brazilian music circles at the time.
