RustyNails

RustyNails formed in Lisbon in the early 2000s around vocalist Pedro Santos. They built a following with a raw sound that pulled from rock and punk, releasing albums like "Desligados," "Sintonizados," and "Desliga-te."

Their song "Ultimo Dia" became particularly resonant, a ballad about loss and regret that connected with listeners. The band's lyrics sometimes drew criticism for being too blunt or rebellious, but they generally kept making music on their own terms.

The lineup included Santos on vocals, Nuno Silva on guitar, João Matos on bass, and Ricardo Rodrigues on drums. They eventually stopped working together, but their records still turn up in Portuguese collections.
