A short-lived group whose piano-driven hit still echoes across Brazil.
If you only know one thing, it's Dança Boneca. The debut album's Pra Sempre Vou Te Amar gives you a sense of their pop sound beyond the hit.
For a band that only lasted a few years, S2M left one song that refuses to fade. Dança Boneca, with its instantly recognizable piano riff, became a national hit in Brazil and still gets played. Their self-titled 2014 debut also gave us tracks like Pra Sempre Vou Te Amar, but it's that one piano line people remember.
They formed in 2013 and released their debut album the next year, which included Dança Boneca. A second album, Só Pra Você, came out in 2016 before the members, Sam Alves, Manu Gavassi, Bruna Marquezine, and Lucas Lucco, went their separate ways to pursue solo work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
