S2ND started in the mid-2000s when childhood friends Lucas Lima, Pedro Sá, and Victor S2 began making music together. They released their self-titled debut album in 2009, which included the single "Mais Um Caso de Amor." That song helped them gain attention in Brazil.
Victor S2 left the band in 2011, and Lima and Sá continued as a duo. They put out two more albums, "O Amor e o Caos" in 2012 and "À Deriva" in 2014. Other songs from their catalog include "Mundo Cão" and "Teoremas de Piratas."
Lima handles lead vocals, piano, and guitar, while Sá plays drums and provides backing vocals. Both have also worked on other music projects outside the band.
