Sacerdocio Real formed in the late 1990s around singer-songwriter Juan Carlos Alvarado and his wife María del Carmen, starting with performances at their local church in Madrid. Their debut album 'TÚ Eres Santo' came out in 2000, featuring the title track that became one of their most recognizable songs.
They followed with albums like 'De Gloria en Gloria' in 2002 and 'Yo Canto' in 2004, building a catalog that mixed Spanish rhythms with contemporary worship music. The core lineup included Luis Guitarra on electric guitar, Samuel Mira on keyboards, Juan Carlos Saavedra on drums, and Dani Girón on bass.
They continued releasing music through the 2000s and 2010s, with albums like 'Tu Fidelidad' in 2010 and 'Rompe el Silencio' in 2018.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
