Saco came together in Fredrikstad, Norway, with members Marcus Saetre, Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel Christiansen, and Anders Frøen. They worked through some early uncertainty before finding their sound, which leaned toward pop with thoughtful lyrics.
Their song "Take Me Home (feat. Sebastien)" took off around 2010, becoming a hit in many countries. That track and another called "Stranger In Paradise" helped define their first album, Circles, which came out that same year.
After Circles, they put out Bridges in 2013, Perspectives in 2016, and Unity in 2020. Each record shifted a bit, Bridges felt more personal, Perspectives brought in some electronic touches, and Unity centered on themes of connection.
