Samantha Barrón came up in Bogotá, Colombia, where she grew up listening to a mix of local folk music, pop, and soul. Her first real break came with a track called "Dibújame," which featured Nanpa Básico and did well on regional charts.
She's put out a few records since then, including albums like "Volver a Empezar" in 2018 and "Sin Filtro" in 2021. Some of her more recent songs include "Duele Tanto" with Jose Macario and "Día / Noche" with Yoss Bones.
In 2020, she got some criticism after a concert where people weren't following social distancing rules. Barrón apologized for that afterward.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
