Samara Trajano started singing in Salvador, Bahia, and put out her first album 'Sou Eu' in 2004. A few years later, her song 'Mês Que Vem Meu Coração Desencana' got popular across Brazil. She's also known for tracks like 'Tanto Faz' and 'O Amor Chegou'.
Her music pulls from MPB, forró, and samba. She's worked with musicians like guitarist Davi Moraes and bassist André Siqueira, and has recorded albums including 'Lume' in 2010 and 'Girassol' in 2018.
In 2012, she drew some attention for posing nude on a magazine cover, but kept making music. She's collaborated with artists such as Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso.
