Samba Top is a Brazilian band that plays samba with a pop feel. The group includes Flavinho on vocals, Thiago on guitar, Marinho on cavaquinho, Rafael on drums, and Bruno on bass. They released their first album, Vem pro Meu Mundo, in 2002, followed by Alegria in 2004, Energia in 2006, Viva Samba Top in 2008, and Festa in 2010.
Their song Vem pro Meu Mundo, from that debut album, became popular in Brazil. In 2005, there was a legal dispute over the rights to that track. The band has faced other challenges, including allegations about financial matters, which they've denied.
