Samico is a Cuban band that formed around lead vocalist Yaima Saez and guitarist Sergio Bringas, with Joel Martinez on bass, Germán Velazco on drums, and Ivette Cepeda on keyboards and vocals. They released their debut album 'Oyá' in 2002, which included the song of the same name that became a notable track for them. Over the next two decades, they put out albums like 'Alma Cuana' in 2006, 'Resiliencia' in 2010, 'Raíces' in 2015, and 'Metamorphosis' in 2020.
