Samuel Barbosa is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and worship leader from São Paulo. He started writing songs that reflected his spiritual leanings, drawing from both his mother's faith and his father's appreciation for Brazilian folk music.
In 2015, his single "Nosso Deus" gained traction and helped bring him wider attention. He's put out albums like Águas Profundas in 2016, Casa do Pai in 2018, and Flores in 2021. Other songs in his catalog include "Como é bom," "Viver pra ti," and "Cante Ao Rei."
He works with a band that includes Daniel de Souza on drums, Lucas Peres on bass, and Priscila Santos on backing vocals. In 2019, he collaborated with Isadora Pompeo on the project Som da Chuva.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
