Sant formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2011, with Lucas Lima, Bruno Caliman, and Rodrigo Campello coming together around Brazilian pop, samba, and folk. They started playing small venues, and things picked up a few years later when their 2014 single "Saidera" connected with listeners. Their self-titled debut album followed in 2015.
Songs like "Sussuros," a collaboration with Olívia, and "Dizeres," with Lourena, show their tendency to work with other vocalists. Their catalog includes albums like "Nação" from 2017 and "Cores" from 2021. The band's lineup settled with Fábio Barem on drums alongside the founding trio.
