Santiago Ramundo formed in Buenos Aires in the early 2000s, with Santiago as lead vocalist and songwriter alongside guitarist Juan Perez, bassist Maria Garcia, and drummer Pedro Rodriguez. They worked through financial constraints and label skepticism before finding recognition with live performances.
Their 2007 single "Amor Mío" became a breakthrough, reaching the top of charts across Latin America. The ballad's emotional delivery connected with listeners, and other songs like "El Tren" and "Cuando Yo Te Vi" followed in their catalog.
After a 2009 concert incident that led to a brief hiatus, the band returned to performing.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
