Saosin formed in Orange County, California in 2003. Their debut EP, 'Translating the Name,' came out that same year and established their sound in the post-hardcore scene. The band's self-titled album followed in 2006.
Vocalist Cove Reber left in 2007, and Anthony Green joined as frontman in 2008. With Green, they released 'Along the Shadow' in 2009. Guitarist Justin Shekoski departed in 2010, and the band went on hiatus for several years.
Saosin reformed and put out another self-titled album in 2016. Their songs include 'Penelope,' '3rd Measurement In C,' and 'Finding Home.' The current lineup features Green, guitarist Beau Burchell, bassist Chris Sorenson, and drummer Alex Rodriguez.
