Sara Haze formed in Stockholm in the early 2010s around songwriter and vocalist Sara Hjellström and bassist Andreas Söderström. They were later joined by drummer Mattias Danielsson and guitarist Oskar Gullstrand. The band's debut album was called 'Everywhere Yet Nowhere,' followed by 'Unseen' and 'The Unforgettable.'
Their song 'Moonshine' became a notable track, along with others like 'Balloon' and 'Cold In California.' The music tends toward atmospheric indie rock with introspective lyrics, anchored by Hjellström's vocals.
There were some early challenges finding their sound in a crowded scene, and they faced criticism for their unconventional approach at times. They kept working on their material regardless, putting out albums that explored moody, ethereal territory without chasing trends.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
