World of My Own

The sun's setting over the hill, but the lights in my mind are lit up.

I'm wondering if I will find a reason to get up.

But I don't know if I will...

'Cause in my mind - there's a world of my own.

All the time - there's a place that I go.

I'm doing fine - 'cause I'm never alone.

I just take a trip to the world of my own.

My friends call me up to go out, but I don't know if I will be free.

I'm lost in a beautiful dream and nobody can convice me to leave.

And I don't know if I should...

Sometimes life can get you down, but I hardly ever frown.

I just close my eyes and I realize...

That in my mind there's a world of my own!
