Sarah Buxton is a singer from Santa Clara, California. She started singing early, with some local choir and lesson experience. In 2001, she met producer Denniz PoP, who connected her with songwriter Max Martin. They worked together on her 2003 single "Outside My Window," which became a hit internationally.
Her self-titled debut album came out in 2004, with songs like "Stupid" and "Give Me a Reason" showing a mix of pop and R&B. She followed it with a second album in 2009. Other tracks in her catalog include "Big Blue Sky," "Full Grown Woman," and "American Daughters."
In 2011, she was arrested for DUI and stepped back from music for a while to focus on personal matters. The details of her work after that period aren't covered here.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
