Sarah Mcmilan

Sarah McLachlan started making music in Vancouver in the late 1980s. Her debut album 'Touch' went platinum in Canada.

In 1997, she co-founded Lilith Fair, an all-female music festival that became a cultural phenomenon and raised millions for charity. The festival showcased many women in music and grew out of her desire to promote female artists.

She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1998, a chronic pain condition that initially threatened her career. She used her music as an outlet for those struggles. Her song 'Treasure' appears among her top tracks.

Her discography includes nine studio albums over three decades. She has since become an advocate for animal welfare.
