Archive material and source history

Say Hi formed in Los Angeles in 2006 with Eric Elbogen on vocals and guitar, Eric Sanderson on bass, and Dave Elkins on drums. They put out a debut EP called 'The Narrow Line' that year. The band's sound had pop and indie rock elements with some electronic touches.

In 2010, Say Hi released the single 'Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh,' which got some attention. They followed it with a self-titled album. By 2012, Elbogen and Sanderson had left, leaving Elkins as the only original member. Elkins kept the band going with new musicians, including Al Schauer on bass and Silas Duva on drums.

In 2018, allegations of sexual misconduct came out against Elkins. The band put out a statement supporting the victims and said Elkins was leaving. Other songs in their catalog include 'Devils,' 'Take Ya' Dancin',' 'All the Pretty Ones,' and 'Blizzard.'
