SCARR formed in Congleton, Cheshire in 2002, with Johnny Scarr on vocals, Jack Howson on guitar, Nick Wiffen on bass, and Mitch Glover on drums. Their debut album 'In My Head' came out in 2005, and the title track became one of their better-known songs.
They released 'The End Is Near' in 2007, followed by 'Resolve' in 2015. Their later albums 'Fractured' (2018) and 'Imperium' (2021) incorporated some industrial and electronic elements into their metalcore sound.
Nick Wiffen left the band in 2020, with Matt Ryan joining on bass. Other songs in their catalog include 'You're The One,' 'Running Away,' 'What do You Need,' and 'White Lies.'
