Scatterbrain was an alternative rock band from Los Angeles that put out three albums between 2001 and 2005. Their breakout single was 'A Funny Thing,' a quirky track that got some play on alternative radio and landed them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. The band was led by singer-songwriter Jesse Sprinkle, who had started out in Christian music before forming Scatterbrain.
Their albums were 'An Overture of Madness' in 2001, 'Here, Below the Sky' in 2003, and 'Clock the Mouth' in 2005. Other songs in their catalog include 'Bartender,' 'Beer Muscles,' 'Big Fun,' and 'Dead Man Blues.' The band's lineup included Bobby Bray on lead guitar, Tim Skipper on rhythm guitar, Jeremy Dean on bass, and Josh Freese on drums.
Sprinkle's outspoken nature about the music industry sometimes caused friction, but it also helped define the band's identity for their fans. Scatterbrain stopped playing together in 2006.
