The Screaming Jets formed in Sydney in 1989, with Dave Gleeson on vocals, Paul Woseen on guitar, Grant Walmsley on bass, and Brad Heaney on drums. Their debut album 'All for One' came out in 1991, and its single 'Better' got them noticed on Australian rock radio. They followed it with albums like 'Tear of Thought' in 1992 and 'The Scream' in 1995.
Songs like 'Shine Over Me' and 'Heart Of The Matter' have stuck around as straightforward rock tunes that don't overcomplicate things. The band took a break in the late 1990s but came back together in 2000.
