Screeching Weasel formed in the Chicago suburbs around 1981, playing in local basements and putting out cassettes before signing with Lookout! Records in 1988. They kept releasing albums through the early '90s, including 'Boogadaboogadaboogada!' and 'Kill the Musicians', before breaking up in 1994 after dealing with internal tensions.
