Sea of Monsters started in São Paulo around 2012. They play a kind of alternative rock that leans into experimental sounds, with songs like 'A Última Alvorada' and 'Modernidade Líquida' showing their range. The band includes Bruno Maia on vocals and guitar, Guilherme Fiorentini on bass, and Pedro Bonifrate on drums.
Their first album, 'A Teoria das Cordas,' came out in 2013. They followed it with 'Valentia' in 2016. In between, around 2015, they lost their original guitarist, which slowed things down for a bit.
