Seemone is a French duo formed in 1992 by pianist Olivier Libaux and vocalist Marie-Paule Belle. Their debut album came out in 1994, followed by others like "À Contre-Jour" in 1996 and "Cœur de Faune" in 1998. They worked with Jean-Michel Jarre on some of those records.
Their best-known song is "Tous le Deux," which has appeared in films and television. In 1996, they faced a copyright lawsuit over that melody but successfully defended their work.
Libaux and Belle have kept their personal lives mostly private. Their music draws from classical and contemporary sources, with Belle's voice carrying Libaux's piano arrangements.
