Seeway formed in São Paulo in 2008 with André "Dek" Fischer on vocals, Kayuá Campos on guitar, Lucas Esteves on bass, and Yuri Nishida on drums. Their early sound drew from punk and hardcore, and they put out their first album "Desabafo" in 2010.
The 2011 song "Puta Que Pariu" drew particular attention for its explicit language and raw portrayal of societal problems. Other tracks like "Bumbabalêo" and "Kuduro É Bom" show the band's range within their aggressive style.
They've released several albums including "Seeway" in 2013, "Insônia" in 2016, and "Mundo Novo" in 2019. The band has toured internationally, building a following in Brazil and beyond with their confrontational approach to hardcore music.
