Segredo Maior formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1997, with Leonardo Oliveira on vocals, Alexandre Lemos on guitar, Rodrigo Reis on bass, and Bruno Ferreira on drums. They put out their first album, 'Segredo,' in 2000. Their second album, 'Anjo,' came out in 2004 and included the song 'Meu Anjo.'
That song, 'Meu Anjo,' became their most recognizable track. It's been covered by other Brazilian artists like Roberta Miranda and MarĂlia Mendonça. The band released several more albums after that, including 'Segredo Maior Ao Vivo' in 2006, 'Pra Sempre' in 2007, and 'Noite Sem Fim' in 2010.
