Their debut album 'The Scent of Death' came out in 1999 and found some attention in underground metal circles. They followed it with 'Apocalypse' in 2001 and 'The Ophidian Path' in 2005, records that moved between blackened death metal and more experimental territory.
Azazel has been the one constant member through various lineup changes. The band toured Europe and North America, sometimes playing shows with acts like Mayhem and Morbid Angel. Their song 'Smoked My Last Thorn' drew particular notice for its graphic content.
