He came up in Sinaloa, putting out his first album 'El Albañil' when he was about twenty. After the success of 'A Través de la Luna,' he had a run of popular albums in the early 2000s like 'Contigo o Sin Ti' and 'El Rey del Corrido.' He released 'De Nuevo en Pie' in 2009.
