Serioga is a Belarusian band fronted by Sergei Parkhomenko that came out of Minsk. Their debut album 'Naikhoroshy' arrived in 2004, and its lead single 'A Na Tantspole Netu Svobodnykh Mest ili Zakolebal-2' became something of an anthem. They followed with albums like '2012' in 2006, 'Muzika' in 2010, and 'Zolotoi' in 2014.
Parkhomenko's lyrics sometimes drew criticism, and in 2006 he was briefly detained for an unauthorized concert. The band's lineup included Andrei 'Ded' Smirnov on drums, Vladimir 'Vava' Palyuga on bass, and Nikita 'NikitOs' Kolesnikov on guitar.
Their songs like 'Chernyy Bumer' and 'Deti Moskvy' have kept them in rotation for Russian-speaking listeners who respond to their mix of hip-hop, pop, and rock elements.
