Sev started in 2008 as a trio with vocalist and guitarist Taiwo Akinyemi, bassist Michael Scott, and drummer Tobey Redshaw. Their debut album 'Homegrown' came out in 2010, and a song from it, 'To Be Loved', got some attention. They're from England, and their music pulls from soul, R&B, and electronica.
In 2013, Redshaw left the band and was replaced by James Fox. A couple years later, Scott was diagnosed with cancer, which led the band to postpone tour dates. They released an album called 'The Journey' in 2017. Other songs in their catalog include 'Weight', 'Lucy', '24/7/365', and 'All Right By Me'.
Their discography lists 'Homegrown' (2010), 'The Fire Inside' (2012), 'The Journey' (2017), and 'Altitude' (2020).
