Severa (metal)

Severa is a German metal band that formed in 2000 around vocalist Andreas Meyer and guitarist Patrick Salzmann. Their lineup has included bassist Markus Witt and drummer Sebastian Kratzer. In 2004, they released their debut album 'Mein Kampf,' which shares its name with the title track that became their most notable song.

The band's music features heavy riffs and aggressive sound, with lyrics that touch on themes of war and violence. Severa has defended this as provocation and commentary on extremism.

Their provocative approach has led to concert bans in some countries and accusations of inciting violence, with politicians and human rights groups condemning their work. Despite this, they've continued releasing music, including albums like 'Blutrausch' in 2006 and 'Asche und Ruinen' in 2016.
