The dark night of the soul

Loses it's grip as it's dank powers slip

Into the waxing moon

that ominously drifts in the palpable mist

I sit on an isle

In a marsh, cold and harsh , of my personal farce

The SFAGNUM around me

A presence compelling, it's fragrance is telling that

DAWN SHALL END THIS

Night than makes the darkest shades of black turn grey

An ink-soaked vault of heaven, no star shall penetrate

A darkness unimaginable, but for whom dwellt in it's depths

A residence of horrors, no man can comprehend

But driven by my conciousness, I longed to have them nigh

To uncloak arcane secrets and share their ancient minds

But too long have I been here and I found myself alone

I am counting down the night and awaiting the new dawn

I accompanied Hekate, stretch her veil across the sky

I staggered with the Nightbreed, felt the leper's dying sigh

I spat fire on my wizard, let his rage rain down on me

Drew power from his power and disdained his empathy

I hunted down the haunted and joined their nocturnal blight

Absorbed so much obscurity that I towered above the night

But in the end it all means nothing, I saw the void in every core

The rapture of the rupture of the shroud I pulled above me

Was more powerfull than anything I ever felt before

One by one I count the rays, that rise up in the sky

ONE, and I'm stabbed in the chest by the radiant rays

Of this all consuming fire

TWO, and my left wrist receives it's death kiss

By a secon d burning wire

A THIRD pulls my arms ineroxably (open) wide

As a crucifixion begun

And the FOURTH nails my feet so that I'm forced to face

The absolute power of the setting sun

Despite all the pain, I seem to find comfort in this position

Reborne, renamed, I incarnate the one true religion

I embrace my destiny, give by God and into the sun I rise

Scholared by darkness, empowered by light, I'll now force this world the Doctrine of

SOLARCHRIST ! ! !
