Shadow Hunter formed in 2006 with vocalist Anya Raven, guitarist Ethan Nightshade, and drummer Dante Shadow. Their debut album 'Whispers in the Dark' came out in 2008, followed by 'Shadows and Light' in 2010 and 'Dark Symphony' in 2015. They put out 'Echoes of the Past' in 2018.
In 2012 they released the album 'The Eye,' which included the title track along with songs like 'Above the burning flame' and 'Unholy Night.' Their music often dealt with dark themes and gothic imagery, which drew some criticism from conservative listeners at the time.
They developed a cult following for their atmospheric rock sound and live performances.
