Shaznay Lewis was the lead vocalist for the British girl group All Saints, which formed in 1993 with Melanie Blatt and the Appleton sisters. Their debut single 'Never Ever' went to number one in the UK, and they had other hits like 'Pure Shores' and 'Under the Bridge' before the group disbanded in 2001.
After All Saints, Lewis released a solo album called 'Open' in 2004. That album included the song 'Butterflies,' which became her most recognizable solo track. She also recorded other singles like 'Never Felt Like This Before' and 'Dance' during this period.
In 2001, Lewis was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune condition. She spoke publicly about living with the disease while continuing her music work, though she hasn't released much solo material since that mid-2000s period.
